Entry Fee: MAAA members: $100 Non-members: $150. Fees are Non-Refundable. Date & Time: Saturday and Sunday, September 3rd & 4th, 2022; 10 AM - 4 PM Place: Ashuelot River Park, West St. Keene, NH

Details: All Exhibitors are required to leave their work on display for both days from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine. Early breakdowns may disqualify you from being asked back. Artists must be present, or have a representative present at their booth during show hours. Site dimensions are approximately 10’ x 10’. Media Accepted For Display: Oil, Water Media, Acrylic, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Charcoal, Pen & Ink, Printmaking, Photography/Digital Art, Collage, Mixed Media and Sculpture. Quality prints and note cards are accepted for sale along with framed original artwork. All prints must be clearly identified. No photocopies allowed. No nudes allowed.

—NOTE: Your booth must be comprised of at least 75% framed fine art/photography, paintings on canvas or sculpture. While this is primarily a fine art event, we understand that many artists work in multiple disciplines. You may also have up to 25% of your booth in crafts that are handmade by you (work from molds, kits, manufactured goods or ready-made products which have been embellished, painted, printed or decorated will not be accepted). Also, as in past events, you are allowed additional products such as note cards, calendars, or bins of matted prints/photographs, if applicable. New artists, who have not previously participated, will be asked to submit sample images of their work to ensure that it meets the criteria listed above (see entry form below).

Exhibitor Responsibilities: Hanging, display, care, removal and sale of art and/or equipment are the exhibitors’ responsibility. The Monadnock Area Artists Association and the City of Keene are not responsible for loss or injury caused by products sold or exhibited by exhibitors, or through warranty expressed or implied. Insurance for loss, damages or injury shall be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.

Demonstration of your skills as part of your exhibit is encouraged.

Parking: Exhibitors are required to unload from designated access areas. To protect the sprinkler system, DRIVING ON PARK GRASS IS PROHIBITED by the City of Keene. After unloading, you must park in the designated Artist parking area. DO NOT leave your car in the front parking lot or at Starbucks. Those spaces are reserved for customers.

Security: Security will be provided in the park overnight from Saturday evening until Sunday morning. However, we do advise that you take all artwork home on Saturday night. Exhibitors are solely responsible for art and possessions left in the park overnight. Tents and furnishings may be left up, but should be closed as securely as possible.

Set-up: Exhibitors will be sent the number of their assigned space at least two weeks prior to the event. Set-up will be on Saturday from 7-9:30 a.m. Early setup Friday evening may also be available, but is not guaranteed. High school students from the Keene High Interact Club will assist those who need help unloading and/or setting up their area Saturday morning. Judging begins at 10 a.m.

Note: Tent stakes are strictly prohibited because of possible damage to the park’s underground sprinkler system. Doing so would prevent MAAA from being able to use the park for this event in the future.

Awards: Judges will award ribbons and cash prizes (back by popular demand) to the first three places in each of the following categories: (1) Water Media - watercolor, acrylic, gouache; (2) Oil; (3) Pastel, Charcoal, (4) Pen and Ink, Colored Pencil and Original Printmaking; (5) Photography/Digital Art, and (6) Sculpture, Mixed Media and Collage.

Award winners will be announced on Saturday. Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded in each of the six categories if judges feel it appropriate.
